Welcome To Learn Vulnerability Research
This website is meant as a collection of tutorials to be used as a learning resource for anyone interested in learning vulnerability research. In order to work through this website (and just learn vulnerability research in general), you need to know C and x86 NASM. This resource is not intended as a Capture The Flag (CTF) challenge series, instead it is a collection of explanations, along with very simple practice programs that learners can gain context by practicing on. This website was made because there is a lack of similar resources to help learners get into vulnerability research, however there are a ton of CTF challenges and specific exploitation walk throughs that do already exist. Make sure to visit the resources page for these additional resources and others that most beginners rely on for learning vulnerability research.
Disclaimer: This website offers this knowledge and resources with the expressed purpose of an increased understanding of vulnerabilities and exploits to help make the world a safer place, as well as to help people learn and (if they want) work within the legal field of vulnerability research, it advocates against breaking the law in any: way, shape, or form. Do not implement these techniques without explicit and fully legal permission to do so.
